The location, nice garden, well‑maintained, friendly people, and the menu food were good. Breakfast could be much better. A nice stretch of beach and a shop nearby. The cottage was not clean in my view. We stayed in a red‑brick house and basic Wi‑Fi didn’t work, but we only slept here and being able to stay was already great.

I love how close the hotel is to the beach, but the toilet is a real disappointment – the shower head in the bathroom needs fixing.

The hotel shows signs of wear and is only suitable for a night or two, but the staff were attentive and extremely kind; the room felt dated, with holes in the bathroom door and a coat rack that no longer stayed attached to the wall.
