It was far more than we expected! ❤️ A wonderful place where we felt incredibly good. For kids, the animal experience was truly special and will surely be one of the most beautiful memories of our vacation. Mariană’s food was simply divine, prepared with so much care and soul. Their hospitality, as a family, is hard to describe in words. We didn’t feel like simple vacation guests; they made us feel part of the family. ❤️ We left with a full heart, beautiful memories, and the sense that we discovered not just a special place, but also wonderful people. It’s definitely a place we’ll gladly return to! ❤️

“Incredible, cosy, unique farm stay with great food and amazing location”

Staying at la Ferma Mariuca turned out to be amazing; Mariana, the host, was incredibly sweet, helpful, and cheerful, and her homemade, fresh dishes were fantastic. The setting was beautiful and tranquil, and the room itself was flawless with a cozy bed and a clean bathroom. Mariana also took us to meet her cows, sheep, and dogs, and we even got to see a newborn calf! I would recommend this place to anyone and hope to return.

This hidden gem in Maramures is a family‑owned farm where the hosts treat you like family. You should definitely opt for the meal plan because the food is grown locally, the dairy is made on site, and Mariana’s cooking is phenomenal.

“Wow, this is the best place in Maramureş!”

We had an incredible time at this farm stay, thanks to the warm hospitality of Mariana and Vasil. We got to experience rural life firsthand, from petting Mimi the sheep to foraging for mushrooms with Mariana. The traditional cooking was out of this world, and we loved being just a short drive from the merriest cemetery and the Ukraine border. Our room was super comfy, and we can't wait to come back and explore more of this beautiful area.
