Great place to stay, location was perfect, food was mostly good, staff friendly. We didn’t like how plates were taken when we weren’t finished with them.

Breakfast was very nice, and the bacon was excellent.

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and even made a fuss about Obi, our Rhodesian Ridgeback. No negatives.

Wonderful location with plenty of fabulous walks right on the doorstep and onsite parking was a nice bonus. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, the food was good pub grub, and the bedroom had all the facilities required.

The location to Grasmere was a lovely old coaching inn. Dogs were allowed.
