Located directly across the port of Piraeus, Hotel Ionion features air-conditioned rooms with complimentary Wi-Fi access. The hotel is within walking distance to the train station and a bus stop connecting to Athens International Airport. Rooms are simply furnished with private bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, and mini fridges, situated 10 km from Athens' city center and a 15-minute bus ride from the New Acropolis Museum.

The location is very convenient for a one‑night stay, but the staff were not very helpful, a handle fell out of the room door so I didn’t feel safe, the room was uncomfortable, and it definitely wasn’t worth the money.

The single room was clean, the hotel was very well‑situated near the ferry terminal for the Cyclades, and the value for money was excellent.
