This cute hotel has comfy beds and I appreciated that breakfast was included. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the train station, but it’s very close to the hot springs. I would stay here again.

The staff were friendly at night. The stay was one of the worst and most expensive we’ve had. The first room we were given had a strong damp smell; the staff blamed El Niño, yet the walls showed years of water stains. Ventilation was terrible – the bathroom mirror never fogged up – and the clothes absorbed that odor in a single night. When we got into bed we also noticed stains on the mattress. Though the staff were kind and swapped us rooms quickly, overall maintenance was awful: in the second room the toilet wouldn’t flush and opening the sink triggered the shower. The only redeeming factor was the good service from the workers; otherwise the facilities were in bad shape, the place wasn’t ready for guests, and the price was far too high for what was offered.

The location is unbeatable, and the staff were attentive. Breakfast was good. The rooms need renovation and have a slight damp smell. It was fine for a single night.
