Close to all shopping centres.

The accommodation was close to attractions, food, buses, and the staff were sweet, with all equipment provided; the rooms were clean, the bathrooms were tidy and spacious. However, there were many ants in the room, the TV wouldn’t turn on—maybe the batteries were dead—and the air‑conditioner was noisy.

The staff were friendly and the place was well situated, but I’m puzzled by the high ratings because as a backpacker who’s stayed in many hostels, this didn’t hit most of the marks. I booked a private room before heading home, and the room had a damp smell that my friends also mentioned. There was no hand soap, the bed was very hard, and I’d never stay here again. The social atmosphere was nonexistent, breakfast was very basic, and a sign asked guests to write names on fridge items but no pen was available.

We really enjoyed the hostel. We chose a private room with a shared bathroom, finding it very affordable, tidy, and pleasant. The place was quiet because there were no large events or crowds, but thin doors let you hear people walking by your door. The bathroom was well equipped except one of the two showers in the women’s area only had cold water. The AC worked well, and we had a window with a mosquito net. We could leave luggage at reception before check‑in and after check‑out. There’s a larger kitchen and seating area on the ground floor with a microwave and dishes; no kettle, but a large water heater lets you boil water for soup or tea. Unfortunately, the street was under construction during our stay, making food delivery or taxi rides a bit inconvenient, and there’s no elevator.
