The breakfast was decent, but the lunch and dinner prices didn't match the food quality. At the beach, they charged for more beer than we actually received, and if you’re not paying close attention, your bill gets doubled. The hotel’s maintenance is lacking; the facilities look old and need more care. The elevator in tower 1 takes forever—it's practically obsolete. When I arrived, they asked if I wanted the hotel insurance; I said no, but they handed me a waiver to sign to absolve the hotel of any incidents, which I obviously didn't sign, especially given the poor maintenance from the entrance onward.

The staff were very attentive and friendly, and the communication at the hotel was excellent. The view was beautiful. In the bathroom, the shower was clogged, and even after it was cleared, it got clogged again the next day.

The first time we stayed at the hotel, we stayed again at the beach house this time, and it was completely exceptional. The peace and comfort are incomparable, and having easy access to the beach plus the hotel’s pools is a great option if you want to relax and stay in one place. The hotel restaurant offers very complete dishes for all tastes, and the minimarket also provides snacks for the day. On top of that, the service from the staff—from arrival to departure—made us feel welcomed and comfortable. We’ll probably keep coming back; it’s become our favorite hotel in Santa Marta.

The beach is calm and private, so it’s enjoyable. There are many stairs to navigate with older adults, and the beach bar closes at 5 pm.
