The staff were friendly, the room was decent, and breakfast was tasty, but there were cockroaches in the room. They mentioned the door would be fixed because there’s a gap at the bottom that lets them in, yet I doubt this is the first time this has happened. 5.0/10.

The staff, from Vedaste to Patience, were all very friendly and made our stay enjoyable. As foreigners, Vedaste went out of his way to communicate with the locals on our behalf when needed and even gave good recommendations on places to visit. The rooms are cleaned daily and towels are replaced each day, and the hotel environment stays clean. The chef prepares fresh breakfast each day, switching it up, and the coffee made by Patience is nice. The hotel’s central location is easy to navigate. 7.0/10. The rooms are generally clean but could be cleaner; we noticed dirty spots on the toilet seat and inside the bowl. One blanket had small pebbles falling out, but after we requested a replacement they promptly provided a new one.

The pictures don’t do the place justice. I got a big bright room with many nice touches like sofas, a kettle, and a large TV. I liked working in the dining area every morning. The staff service was exceptional; they were so attentive and I genuinely enjoyed our conversations, making me feel at home. The location is great, minutes from the convention centre and Kimihurura. 9.0/10. The property is on a busy road, and the constant sound of passing vehicles takes some getting used to. The advertised balconies also aren’t really balconies.
