The hotel refused my booking made through Book, claiming the rate was wrong and that I would have to pay an additional almost 200 reais to stay. It was late and I was exhausted from traveling, so I ended up paying more for the stay, a truly frustrating situation.

The only highlight was breakfast: the cheese bread (“pão de queijo”) was genuinely delicious, and the fresh bread was good too. However, the property is extremely outdated and poorly maintained. Almost everything looks worn or damaged: stained floors, marked doors, dirty curtains, and a bathroom mat heavily stained with bleach. The bathroom had visible mold, rusty fixtures, a very small sink with no practical space for toiletries, and the electric shower was subpar. The overall vibe is unpleasant—not necessarily dirty, but so old and deteriorated that touching anything feels uncomfortable.
