We were in the hotel during Oktoberfest, so it was obvious that room rates were higher, but the price of 380 Euro for one night was not justified by what we received. We had to change rooms because the first one smelled of smoke and the second one smelled of sweat. We stayed in the second room anyway. It looked unkempt, everything seemed a bit broken and old, and the furnishings were very minimalist.

The breakfast was excellent, and the location was perfect—right next to the train station and very close to the city center. The staff were friendly and very helpful, though the bathroom was a bit too small, even though it was functional.

The hotel was in a great spot for a short stay during Oktoberfest and for exploring the city – just a short walk from the main station with excellent transport links. The staff were friendly and they allowed a late check‑in, which was great. The room was a good size too. However, on a couple of nights we heard very loud conversations in the stairwell and corridors from other guests at 2 am, which was not pleasant.
