“Expensive for what you get. But maybe that's just Dunedin”
The spot sits very close to the center, so I could brew coffee whenever I wanted and spot water in the distance. The lady who let me in seemed nice but didn’t point out where the spare towels were, so I had to hunt for towels and a hair dryer in the shared bathroom. The mattress was so uncomfortable that I woke up with a stiff neck and shoulder. I had a kettle in my room but no cups or spoons or anything else. The shared bathroom had used pieces of soap. My booking said I’d have an overlook of the garden, but I actually had a small window that overlooked the car park. The TV was mounted so you could only watch it if you sat directly opposite it, less than a meter away, which made it hard to see without a headache. The wall between bedroom two and the kitchen was so thin that I could hear anyone else there, and since it was open until 10:00 p.m., it was a bit annoying for someone who goes to bed around 9. I don’t think the way they have specified the food included is very well done; it’s only breakfast, cereal, and bread, and there was one singular egg in the shared fridge.
