“Oh dear”
The room looked clean but worn, yet it turned out to be the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in; there were so many midges in the room that I couldn’t swat them, and when I told the lady in charge she admitted she had been bitten too; I tried to sleep covered but woke up with 30 to 40 bites and swelling, and even though midges are seasonal the hotel should solve this issue by providing insect spray in rooms—after 50 years of extensive travel I have never left a hotel with a bad review, and the restaurant was terrible.
