It was within walking distance to the marina, but the property was run down and the staff had stopped caring; we told the front desk that ceiling pieces had fallen during the night, they didn’t seem surprised and just said “ok, we’ll add it to the list.” The front desk staff at check‑in and check‑out were brisk, unfriendly, and rude.

Everything was perfect until a group of children who should have been in bed around midnight were playing outside our room, yelling and screaming for what seemed like forever; the parents were out socializing and let the kids stay out, and no staff stopped the noise. With the current climate I wouldn’t dare confront anyone, so we tolerated it. The location and convenience were also lacking; we had stayed at this place before when visiting a dear friend battling cancer.

Breakfast was okay but seating was insufficient; there’s a great restaurant nearby, waterfront walkways, and easy access to the 402.

The location was close to our event, but the rooms were subpar: a cracked window, missing curtains with light pouring in around the whole door, an old sunken mattress, and a tiny TV. A $50 charge appeared on the credit card for incidentals that is reimbursed only after 5 to 7 business days, so interest accrues; no other hotel I’ve stayed at does that. My husband travels all over Canada as a tradesman, and we will never stay at a Days Inn or another Wyndham property that does this again. Holiday Inn will be our choice, and we’ll tell friends, coworkers, and family how Days Inn operates. Money shouldn’t be taken from a credit card unless necessary, and guests shouldn’t incur interest on charges that shouldn’t be taken.

Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Petit déjeuner supérieur à la moyenne. Très propre et très bien situé au bord de la rivière et à côté d' un grand parc. Quelques petits détails rappellent que ce n' est pas un palace mais pas au point de gâcher le plaisir
