Aviemore Rye

This place is one of the most charming spots I’ve ever stayed at – they really go the extra mile to make you feel welcomed and turned our visit into something truly special. I’m not great at writing reviews, but this experience was so memorable I felt compelled to share; I would absolutely love to return and can’t recommend it enough!

“Perfect, personalised stay in Rye - couldn’t recommend more.”

Everything was perfect, from the personal touches to the homemade and locally grown food. Breakfast was sensational and thoughtfully prepared, the rooms were tastefully decorated, and the hosts were accommodating, helpful with recommendations, and personalized our stay. The location was ideal, and there was nothing to criticize – everything was great.

“An exceptional, peaceful experience”

What an amazing stay! Jeremy and Tomas are simply wonderful hosts, and the Aviemore is comfortable and beautifully decorated, with a wonderful and peaceful garden. It is worth coming for breakfast alone, where a wide variety of homemade breads, jams and other options are complemented by a delicious a la carte menu that includes Czech dishes and other options inspired by the host's travels, all enjoyed in a private breakfast room. Thoughtfulness and care sit at the heart of everything at Aviemore, and I would strongly recommend it for your stay in Rye. Nothing— I can't wait to return. The guest house is an older building, and so may not be the best choice for travellers with reduced mobility.

“Can’t fault the hospitality from owners and breakfast was excellent”

The room’s proximity to the town centre is great, but it was a bit dark and lacked a dressing table or desk. I would have preferred a wardrobe instead of hanging clothes around the room.
