Helen is the most wonderful and welcoming host; she was there from the moment we arrived to make sure we had a fabulous time. The property was spotless and had all the facilities we could need and more. Breakfast was delicious and well catered for my vegetarian partner. We can’t thank her enough for turning our first trip together into a magical experience.

The room and bathroom were beautifully decorated, Helen the owner was pleasant and helpful, and breakfast was delicious and plentiful. For your info, it’s a 20/25 minute walk to the town—no problem for us, but it might be for others.

The stay was very comfortable and cozy, quiet, and within walking distance of restaurants on Union Street. The English countryside setting was charming. The place is very clean and the host Helen is amazing. I spilled coffee on her white rug and she was so nice about it, saying she’d take care of it and offering coffee and toast because we’re not big breakfast eaters. That was very sweet and kind of her.
