“A lovely stay in a beautiful property, with lovely outdoor spaces and very comfortable rooms.”
The room was lovely, clean and spacious; the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was immaculate; the outdoor area was beautiful, and the terrace was perfect for enjoying breakfast, which was excellent and plentiful. Cindy, the host, was helpful and kind, and she arranged bikes for us on request. A small issue was that the town of Bisseuil is quite small and everything closes early, so we really needed to be more organized about having food on hand for dinner after a day of touring wineries because there were no restaurants open and no way to get food in Bisseuil. A suggestion would be to pre‑book transfers to get to Epernay or Ay for a meal. Something for other guests to perhaps note and prepare better than we did :) … not a negative about Au fil de l’Ô … which was beautiful.
Everything worked wonderfully. The host was exceptionally warm, we felt completely comfortable, and we can recommend the accommodation without reservation. The sustainable breakfast was especially nice; we could choose it the night before and it was lovingly delivered to our room in a basket each morning.
