The venue is stunning and the staff are truly outstanding! We didn’t find anything we disliked.

A lovely hotel a little outside the city, quiet and roomy. Officially 5‑star, but not during our visit – the room hadn’t been inspected beforehand. There were faults, like a missing toilet paper holder, and the bathroom heater was broken so it couldn’t warm the room. At 11 p.m. we were offered a room change, but we said no because we were leaving early the next morning.

Food was great, but the room was very noisy, making it impossible to sleep after a long drive. Worth £225 a night? No. No apology was offered.
