The old palace had amazing ceiling frescoes.

The place was quiet and the locals were incredibly kind and helpful. The building is a well-restored noble palace, still cool in the middle of August. The owner gave us a really spacious apartment at no extra cost, which was fantastic. The bad and breakfast was actually just bad. It’s a shame there’s no option for breakfast.

The structure is a rare beauty, brand‑new and clean in the heart of the picturesque town of Monte San Giusto, and the host was truly kind and helpful, offering a late check‑out that was much appreciated. Unfortunately, the lack of air conditioning negatively affected the experience because the windows of our room, which we had to keep open due to the heat, faced the town square where people stayed out until late, leaving us with only a few hours of quiet sleep.
