Great, Danny was exceptionally kind. The heating was too high; I slept with the window open.

The room was spacious and easy access to a main metro line making it easy to see main attractions, is only a 30min walk to the colosseum. It appeared visible clean in the bedroom and bathroom. The host provide clean towels and soap which was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable. The host needs to work on communication skills, as there was confusions with leaving bags before check in and where the accommodation is as there is not clear signage saying the accommodation is in the building. The shared bathroom hot water in the shower did not work, the host tried to explain how to fix it which it did once but then did not for the rest of our stay leaving us with only cold water to shower with in winter, which seems to be a common occurrence from some other reviews. There also seems to be a water pressure issue when you try to put the tap onto the hottest settings as well. Our bedroom door was opaque glass causing a lot of light to come through when the hallway light was on. The curtain on the window was very small allowing a lot of light to come through in the mornings as well. The rooms are also not very sound proof as you can hear people talking in other rooms and the hallway. We thought we would have some kitchen appliances in our room which it did not but this was probably our fault for not looking at the booking properly. If these issues are fixed it would be a great stay otherwise

A cool neighborhood that showed me a stylish side of Rome. Easy metro access and good pricing. The shared bathroom was busy, but I understand everyone needs a bathroom in Italy!

The hotel sits in a prime spot that lets you explore all of Rome. Right below the building is the A‑line metro stop that links all the main tourist areas, and the neighborhood itself is pretty nice too.

Before my stay I got a notice asking for the tourist tax payment. My bank needed 2/3 days to add a new beneficiary, but the staff accepted cash, so that worked out.
