Everything was excellent from start to finish. The hotel is super close to the airport, and they gave us a morning shuttle for a normal price. The room was comfortable and the patio was great; we would have stayed longer for sure.

It was convenient for a single night, but the staff didn’t reply to WhatsApp and were not friendly at all. They claimed to offer a free airport transfer, but that was a lie. When we asked to store our luggage, they gave us a polite face but still charged us 40 GTQ. Later, when our flight from Tikal to Guatemala City was delayed, we needed an Uber to bring our bags to the airport so we wouldn’t miss our international flight; they simply ignored us. No customer care or understanding. The facilities were acceptable and clean, but don’t expect friendly people or English speakers.

Roberto, the owner, was incredibly kind and even gave me a ride to the airport the next morning—thanks a lot! I paid extra for breakfast, but it was a bit small, not what I expected, though it was still good.

A great place to stay—our early flight was handled well, and the Be Happy team took us to the airport at 5:30 am with their free shuttle. We had booked a twin‑bed room, but on arrival they offered a shared bed, which was a nice touch. The kitchenette downstairs has hot water and games—a nice spot to relax. We loved the overall vibe and the lovely staff, so I’d highly recommend it! The upstairs rooms can get a bit hot, but we had a window with a bug net and a fan, so we slept well.
