Flamingo Hotel had been on my list of must‑visit places since 2022, and I finally got to stay there. The property is huge, especially the pool that looks like an Instagram photo. However, there’s a catch that isn’t mentioned in any description: the Insta‑pool shown in every ad is actually off‑limits to guests, only for the four nearby bungalows, so you can’t just step in for a quick photo—disappointing. The park area has friendly parrots you can pet, feed, and chat with, adding to the vibe. The main pool is big and cleaned nightly. Breakfast is good for the region. Rooms vary; I stayed on the 4th floor in a nice, bright room that was cleaned regularly. I’d love a 24/7 water station near the front desk and some light background music during the day, because that was sorely missing. The staff weren’t as friendly as expected, which was noticeable from check‑in onward.
