The breakfast was decent and the B&B’s spot is great, but the carpets are filthy and need new ones, the furniture looks worn, the bathroom lacks storage, the shower is tiny, there’s only one bedside table when two would be better, and the mirror’s placement means you can’t dry your hair in front of it; a little updating is overdue.

The location is superb and every amenity worked except the TV, which had no radio channels; nothing else stood out, though it felt pricey compared to other town‑centre options.
