Within the budget range this hotel deserves five stars. It offers sufficiently clean rooms, and the new interior hasn’t been spoiled by visitors yet. The beds are comfortable, the shower/bathroom is decent. In Sliven it could be much worse at this price, but in Ricas it’s just fine. There’s no kitchen or breakfast, but the room has a small fridge. A supermarket is just across the street. The AC works nicely and stays clean. The street view is noisy, but the windows provide excellent insulation. Unfortunately, you can hear guests talking in adjacent rooms. The shower has a limited hot water supply, only 6 minutes max, and I don’t know why they restrict it. The small fridge loses power once the key card is removed, which doesn’t make sense; perhaps reception can give a duplicate card. It’s hard to ban smoking there; the rooms are non‑smoking but still develop a stale cigarette smell. The hotel looks relatively new, so guests should use it before it ages and possibly gets neglected.

The place is well‑located. The toilet was wobbling, most of the lights didn’t work, the rooms reeked of cigarettes, there was no refrigerator, and the air‑conditioning gave off a urine smell.
