The front‑desk staff were very friendly and cheerful, eager to please. However, the hotel is currently surrounded by construction of large building blocks, a problem that will disappear over time. At breakfast, twice, we asked for plain buttered toast with jam, but we were only served coffee with milk and had to leave the table.

The hotel needed a list of issues because many things were not up to standard, but a good housekeeper could fix a lot of the untidy stuff like poorly attached pipes, broken hangers, peeled wallpaper, improper door locks, and a clogged drain. A good chef who would appear in the morning could solve the two paid breakfasts I missed because no one prepared food, and the food was really sub‑par; for example, in the evening they said soup and spoon‑served dishes weren’t made, and on one day I asked for ricotta and pesto pizza but only got melted cheese in a triangle. I was tired and couldn’t find another restaurant—find it! The room was cold. I wonder how a 5‑star hotel could be like this elsewhere.

Breakfast wasn’t included, but we could order it every morning at the hotel restaurant without any trouble. The food was very good, and I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the coffee tasted. We wholeheartedly recommend the accommodation. The hotel room was always clean. I personally don’t like carpets and that bothered me a bit.

The pool and spa were free to use, and the breakfast buffet cost 5 euros per person. The carpet needs to be replaced and the pool also needs some renovation.
