The hotel is 3.2 km from River Rock Casino and 15 minutes from Vancouver and Riverport Sports and Entertainment Complex.

The free airport shuttle was good, and the breakfast was excellent, though not included; I paid 19 CAD for a buffet‑style breakfast with good options and lovely crispy bacon. The beds were large and comfortable, and the blackout blinds ensured undisturbed sleep. A kettle was available at the reception desk. The reception area was small and got quite busy and crowded. There was confusion with another Holiday Inn shuttle bus going to a different location. Shuttle buses fill up quickly, so it’s best to call the hotel and book a spot on the next one as soon as you land.

The free airport shuttle was a great touch, and the room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and a superb shower—no issues at all.

The hotel was clean and quiet, but the breakfast buffet was awful; I ended up walking across the parking lot to McDonald’s.
