The staff were pleasant and I was able to get a smoking room, but finding a cockroach was very annoying. I’m not a fan of bugs, so I had to hide under the bed while I was upset, and I ended up staying one night anyway. I would like a partial refund for that experience.
The spot is unbeatable; after taking the skyliner from the airport I stepped off the train station and the hotel was right in front of me—no searching or extra walking. It’s a little worn, but that doesn’t ruin the experience. The place is clean and comfortable, and the man at reception was friendly.

The hotel is cheap and conveniently located, and having a bathroom in the room is a great deal for the price. The old bed had an odor that bothered me, though that’s understandable given its age.
One of the staff, possibly the owner, was extremely friendly and spoke English very well, which helped since it was our second day and we were jet‑lagged. He told us he had lived in America when he was younger and showed us his artwork from that time. Very friendly and helpful! The hotel looks a bit rundown, but it’s still very clean and in a great spot.
