The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view was beautiful and the location was excellent. Highly recommended.

“Vergane glorie in de bergen bij Berwang”

A large hotel nicely situated in the mountains. In short: lost glory. It used to be a 4‑star hotel but it’s nowhere near that level now. The décor is dull and the staff seem worn out. It needs new management.

The location was excellent, the rooms spacious, and the parking for cars was great. The wellness area was roomy, featuring a sauna and genuine cold spring water bottles. The pool felt slippery, and I wondered about the biofilm water quality. The steam rooms were closed. The food was convenient, though many items were canned salads. The hotel works well for large groups but isn’t ideal for solo travelers.

“Sehr schön ruhig und tolles Hotel”

The rooms were fantastic, the staff very friendly, the food excellent and the restaurant and hotel overall wonderful. However, we weren’t impressed with the wellness area—the pool was far too cold, parts of the sauna weren’t usable, some sections need renovation, the poolside area was very slippery, and the balcony should have a divider because at night you can’t leave the door open as it’s shared with other guests. We booked the hotel for its wellness facilities, which turned out to be a poor choice.
