The service was outstanding, the Michelin‑star dining superb, and the staff were friendly and comfortable. The downside was that dogs were present in the hotel, even on the seats.

The room was very clean, the parking convenient, and they helped with luggage; the bathroom products were lovely, the bed and bedding were really comfortable, and the facilities were great. If I’m being picky, the bar toilet and cloakroom could use a refurbishment and felt less high‑end.

The entrance and grounds were beautiful, the staff very welcoming, and the hotel had an amazing smell. The room and bar furniture looked tired, the floorboards outside the room were noisy, and the lower‑star hotels I stayed in felt more special.
