The room was spacious and the setting was pleasant, but it was extremely hot and the fan wasn’t enough to keep a comfortable sleeping temperature.
I asked to check‑in at 14:00 instead of 16:00 because I was coming from far away and had a ceremony, so I needed a little time to get ready; they told me I’d be charged 25 euros per extra hour, so 50 euros because check‑in is at 16:00—scandalous. I’ve never had to pay a surcharge on a trip, it feels like a rip‑off. The room was ready, but the next morning I was woken at 8:00 by staff—maybe they were working, but it was a very bad experience and the room felt stuffy.
The staff were welcoming and pleasant, and the bathroom was clean, but the sheets were stained and the room didn't match the listing; we ate at the hotel restaurant and discovered a live beetle strolling in the appetizer plate, though the rest of the meal was still good.
