Perfect Hub Semporna

The overall quality of the facilities at Semporna is quite low, but this place is above average—still a low‑level property. The common area is very nice, offering bread and jam for free breakfast. It fell short of expectations.

The staff were welcoming, the hotel sits close to many shops and restaurants, there is plenty of free roadside parking, the pillow was comfortable, and the Wi‑Fi signal was strong. The room was very small and had no windows; the bed was a good size but rather hard.

The staff were helpful, the location was good, the room was basic but functional, and the shared bathrooms were clean. There was no soundproofing.

“Met basic needs”

The location was good, the place was clean, breakfast was free (toast, coffee, tea) and the bed was reasonably comfortable. However, there is absolutely no soundproofing in the rooms; you can hear everything next door—people coughing, sneezing, talking, snoring—and the rooms face the shared bathroom, so you also hear everything from there. If someone walks around in the kitchen, it sounds like baby elephants above you. The air conditioner emits a moldy, damp smell. The staff sat in the lobby all day, knowing when your room was empty, and would constantly stare at you, which was very uncomfortable.

“De lo mejor de Semporna”

The room had no big luxuries but was more than enough for a few days in Semporna. The hotel is about a 5‑10 minute walk from the pier and practically next to the night market. The staff, especially Ridz, were super friendly and helped us organize activities and airport transport. The value for money was very good. The included breakfast was rather poor: Bimbo bread to toast and jam. It does have a shared fridge for storing food.
