The room is fairly large and clean. The hotel is on the roadside, which makes the nights very noisy. Additionally, there is a metallic smell coming from the shower water and a damp odor as well.

The room size is fine. The shower provides little water, and there are many steps in the bathroom where you can get hurt. I found the owners a bit unfriendly but efficient. I didn’t like the breakfast much because I don’t like Filipino food; they serve everything cold.

I found the place practically non‑existent – rooms were just thrown together, water from the taps ran brown, and I’ve attached a photo. The location shown on Booking and Google was wrong, and we ended up paying for two days in a place that didn’t match the description. The water was brown, so we didn’t wash for two days.

I had an awesome time at SandGrizz Tourist Inn in El Nido – it feels like a steal for what you get. The rooms were cheap, clean, comfy, with huge beds and strong AC that saved us in Palawan. The place is small, family‑run, and the staff genuinely care about guests, making everything feel effortless. We could check in early because our room was ready, which was a big plus after traveling. Breakfast is included and served whenever you want, not on a strict schedule, which made the stay feel much more relaxed. They also offer plenty of extras like motorbike rentals, laundry, and tour bookings. The location is perfect – a 30‑second walk to an amazing beach with cool bars and some of the best sunsets I’ve seen. If you’re heading to El Nido and want an affordable, comfortable spot run by genuinely nice people, I’d definitely recommend SandGrizz Tourist Inn and would stay again 100 %.
