The rustic-style Würzburg restaurant serves Franconian and international cuisine, paired with local wines and beers. A tram stop is opposite, with Würzburg Main Station just 800 metres away, near River Main.

The location was excellent and the staff were very nice. The bathroom is a bit dated, but it was clean.

This was the best room on the trip—very large. The service was helpful, and the market square was just a short walk away.

At least the hotel is painted bright pink, which makes it easy to spot, and the signage is clear. The hotel claims to have parking, but that’s a stretch of the imagination. They should put parking instructions on their website and booking pages to park next door in the underground garage to make it easier for guests to plan their arrival. The beds were terrible—bad mattresses with sink holes, horrible pillows that don’t conform to the shape of the neck. I tossed the pillow aside and rolled up my husband’s sweatpants for neck support. The linens felt like paper; I don’t know if they’re cotton, canvas, or paper. I didn’t like them.

The double room and bathroom were roomy, and the mattress was extremely comfortable. The location to the old town is great, and the staff friendliness is unmatched. Unfortunately, there was no built‑in wardrobe. For a one‑night stay that was fine.
