“Good location but room smelled of cigarettes”

Breakfast options were decent for the price and the staff were all friendly. It was very hot, but a fan was supplied. At check‑in I didn’t get any details about breakfast, checkout, or that the hotel gates lock at 11 pm, so when I returned after a wedding I thought I’d be locked out; I tried calling but no one answered. I later learned there’s a back door near the bank, and I had to call someone from the wedding party to find out how to get in. I wish someone had told me that! My room also had a strong cigarette smell, and because of a spider problem outside I couldn’t open the windows.

The room was large. The bathtub needed a proper cleaning, the shower water pressure was weak, and the room almost always smelled like food.

“Ich möchte gerne wiederkommen und werde das Hotel auch empfehlen”

The romantic spot by the Mühlbach with the huge water wheel is a real treat, and they served the coffee in a little pot right at the table for breakfast—no need to stand in line at those awful coffee machines. The bathroom gets cleaned daily, but the bed is never made.

“Enttäuschend”

The location is very good, but the property would benefit from a more affectionate touch. There is no sense of service mentality, the rooms and furniture are old and need renovation or replacement, and the cleanliness is lacking.
