The room was lovely and clean and the beds were super comfy. Nice quiet surroundings and only a short drive to shops and pubs if needed. Good selection of hot drinks provided in the room. Great breakfast!

The apartment was very spacious with views of open countryside. The use of a hot tub is a lovely addition. Everyone was friendly and nothing too much trouble. Breakfast contained wuality ingredients and was well cooked. The pizza evening on Friday was the perfect end to our stay. In the apartment is a small kitchen area with microwave and small hotplate but despite being saucepans etc there was no utensils for doing any actual cooking if you so wished. The bathroom had a spa bath but that's not quite as convenient as a stand alone shower

The cooked breakfast was very good. The Foxes Den is obviously a popular place for breakfast, as there were many visitors when we were there! We sat in the conservatory area, where we were met for breakfast by some friends, and the hostess made sure we were comfortable. There wasn't much choice at the breakfast bar for those of us who were staying at the Foxes Den, but that was compensated for by the quality of the cooked food

The welcome was excellent, the ground‑floor room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was very good, it was quiet even though it’s near the road, and there were no issues.
