Overall, a great experience; the rooms feel like authentic monastery cells, the bathroom is very clean and located in the hallway, and Wi‑Fi works inconsistently because the building is old with thick walls—so if you’re looking to enjoy monastic life, this is the place. If you want the comfort of typical hotels or apartments, you’ll probably need somewhere else. The price could be a bit lower; a 1‑2 night stay is enough to taste the experience, but I wouldn’t book it for a long holiday.

“Ein „ einmaliger“ Aufenthalt ohne Weiterempfehlung”

The historic vaulted ceiling is impressive, but there’s a moldy smell in the hallway, no barrier‑free entrance, and the price‑to‑value ratio is terrible for over €200—no breakfast, a communal shower in the hallway, and the furnishings are overcrowded.

“Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ist es eine gute Adresse. Auch wenns preislich eher am oberen Limit ist.”

The house is an ancient, historically rich building, and the rooms are lovingly furnished. The reception (telephone check‑in) was very warm and straightforward, so I felt welcomed. Opening the windows proved difficult, especially in the bathroom, and the entrance in the archway isn’t very inviting; it would be nice if the windows were cleaned.

The host was very friendly, the place was spotless and thoughtfully decorated. I’d love to come back 🤗. The only downside was that the room couldn’t be darkened.

Ein sehr freundlicher und bemühter Vermieter. Ein spektakuläres Münster in der Nähe mit dem Gefühl in den ehemals dazugehörigen Mauern zu nächtigen. Geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Der Preis ist im Vergleich zu andere völlig überzogen. Kaum W-lan Empfang im Einzelzimmer. (heutzutage ist die Möglichkeit über die Stromleitung eine sehr einfache Sache) Der Toilettendeckel ist lose und passt nicht auf dieses WC, somit sitzt man direkt auf der Schüssel darunter. Der WC Spiegel in gefühlter Bauchnabelhöhe. Keine Verdunklungsmöglichkeit im Einzelzimmer, dieses wäre von Vorteil da draußen direkt eine Straßenlaterne in das Zimmer leuchtet. Keine Ebike Unterstellmöglichkeit, aufladen geht nur mit Abgabe des Akkus und Ladegerätes beim Vermieter. Alles in allem Dinge die in Relation zum Preis stehen
