If you’re after silence and peace in nature with animals and friendly hosts, I’d recommend the cabin here.

It was quiet and peaceful.

First, the owners are amazing—Mr Jacek really cares about guests, lives nearby and is always ready to help; second, the cabin is well equipped with gadgets like a projector and screen, plus lovely animals led by a tame goat! However, a covered terrace would let you sit in the rain, and we missed a sign for the parking turn because Google Maps overlooked it.

The cabin is so well equipped that on arrival you could just hop into Dino (10 minutes by car one way or the other) and after doing major shopping you could stay there forever, yet the Bukowiec area has plenty of larger and smaller attractions, so daily trips out of the cabin are recommended. If you want to sit with coffee (the cabin has an espresso machine) or a book (there’s a surprise for book lovers on site), especially if you’re from the city, you might feel a bit out of place because there’s no road noise, just the chirping of a dozen birds, insects buzzing, and the snorting of ponies grazing almost within arm’s reach. On top of that a passing deer occasionally distracts you, making it hard to focus on a book. Plus, people go on vacation to spend time with kids, but there aren’t enough of them because they’re either playing with an ultra-friendly goat, riding ponies at half price, or climbing the tasty cherries and exploring the farmer’s orchard. Speaking of the farmer, communication with him is very good; when one problem arose he handled it immediately, so you can’t complain, and we all know Poles love to complain. So I leave you with this opinion, think for yourself ;) The only thing you can criticize is that if you like silence, peace, and a rural atmosphere, there’s nothing to complain about.
