“Do not stay here.”
The room and bedding were clean. I booked and paid for a double room, expecting either a double bed or two single beds, and was assigned a 4‑person dorm with two sets of bunk beds instead. At 73, I don’t get excited about bunk beds, so that’s why I chose a double or twin room. Reaching out to the hosts was hard and cost me money; they told me all double and twin rooms were unavailable for my dates, which is unacceptable. If I hadn’t prepaid I wouldn’t have stayed. The bunk beds were uncomfortable. The blind on the second window was broken in the down position, so the room stayed dark. The showers were automatic—pushing the button, no matter how hard or long, gave only 16 seconds of water, which is absurd. The place isn’t really a hostel; there’s no real common area or kitchen because those spots are off‑limits to guests who booked premium rooms on that floor. It’s expensive for what it offers. The hosts were unfriendly and hostile to feedback, ignored most messages, and were non‑responsive.
