Most hotel rooms are pretty small and sometimes cramped, but this was the biggest room I've stayed in so far, and I actually had space to leave my 28‑inch suitcase and carry‑on open without feeling cramped. I was solo, so a couple might find it a bit tight. I didn't opt for any cleaning service, and honestly I don't think it was necessary for a short stay; most tourists just sleep and get ready for the day. I've stayed in hotels with constant upkeep and room service that kept offering me more amenities before I even finished using the ones initially provided (some people may prefer that). Also, skipping cleaning was cheaper, so I call it a win. The bathing area was pretty nice and quiet, and there was a sauna as well. I mainly used it late at night, so I didn't run into many people. There was also a snack bar (the probiotic drinks are only served until 10 am but the ice cream is available until late, IIRC) and a lounge area outside where you could relax and wait for your laundry to finish. There’s a lounge area for guests alongside vending machines and a smoking area, with plenty of shops nearby if you wanted something else. The station is only about 4 minutes away and you can reach the main areas of Osaka pretty easily in about 20 minutes as long as you don’t get lost (unlike me). The TV only had cable and couldn’t connect to streaming services, so I couldn’t really use it fully. Also, the washing machines are inside the bathing area, so it gets a bit awkward if you’re not using the area and run into naked people in the room. The air‑con was a bit finicky to use, so sometimes I got too cold and other times I felt slightly too hot, but otherwise it’s decent. I also would’ve liked to freshen up at the bathing area after arriving in Osaka, but I believe you can only use the facility after you check in, and I ended up having to go somewhere else instead. Some of the hotel branches do offer day‑time onsen use, but not this one. There isn’t really an easy way to contact the hotel staff that isn’t using the Japanese‑only inquiry form or calling the front desk of the hotel you’re staying at. You have to contact the desk to send your luggage over before your booking, so I had to call early to ask if I could send my luggage to their hotel, and my connection got cut off since it was unstable and I had just landed in Japan, but I think this issue is avoidable if you remember to contact them at least a day before your booking in your home country.

As always, the place is exceptionally well maintained. The onsen is beautiful, the staff are clean and friendly, and the breakfast is delicious—luckily they still serve Japanese breakfast.

The location was great, and the room and bed were spacious and comfortable. The hot spring was nice, and the coffee machine on the first floor was convenient. I wish there had been a mini‑cosmetics set in front of the front desk on the first floor, and it would have been even better if there were a coffee machine in the room.
