The accommodation included a basic tasty omelet for breakfast, which was near an awesome palm‑tree lined crystal‑clear water beach. Air conditioning worked only at night. The staff were friendly, and I had the whole resort to myself for four blissful days!

The villa was beautiful, comfortable, and the staff were very kind. The pork Adobo was the best dish we had. The shower water pressure wasn’t great.

“A remote place to get away from it all and to see other things in the north of Palawan.”

I discovered this quiet, off‑the‑beaten‑track resort and it was a nice escape. Getting around is a bit tricky unless you have your own transport, but a trike will pick you up if you need it. There’s basically nothing else nearby for food or drinks, so the on‑site restaurant is a lifesaver—fresh vegetables and cold beer. The beach is great for swimming and snorkeling, and the resort itself has plenty of spots to relax. Renting a scooter is easy and lets you explore the area. San Fernando is close enough to catch boats to other islands. The remote location keeps the price reasonable, but the wifi, air‑conditioning, and water pressure can be spotty, and a generator runs at times. If you’re okay with those quirks, this place works; otherwise, the crowded El Nido might be better.

If you’re after a quiet spot away from El Nido’s hustle, this resort fits the bill. A beach borders the property on both sides, and there’s nothing close by to eat, so all meals are prepared on site with fresh veggies when available. The staff are genuinely helpful and friendly, and while the resort isn’t flashy, it’s comfortable. There’s no swimming pool, but the bungalows have air‑con and a fan (when it works); a generator kicks in in the afternoon. A tuk‑tuk is available, though the area offers little to see, so scooters can be hired. The remoteness means some things don’t work perfectly, but that’s expected for the price, and the staff go out of their way to keep guests comfortable.

The location, sea view, and proximity to the water are great. The breakfast is mediocre, and the lack of electricity during the day makes the rooms very hot in the mornings. Air‑conditioning stops at 7 am, which makes it even hotter. The shower flow is extremely weak and the water is cold. The restaurant is almost non‑existent, and there’s nothing around, so you need to rent a scooter. It’s a good spot for those who want to rest and enjoy the calm, far from El Nido’s bustle.
