“Stunning ocean view in a rainforest with unique animals”

The location is absolutely stunning, right in the middle of the rainforest with a gorgeous view over the bay and the islands. It’s hard to put the beauty into words. It’s a unique place, and I only hope it will be preserved for the future. The hosts Ken and Crisha do an amazing job and are the most helpful and kind hosts. For us, that remote setting in Langkawi was exactly what we wanted. Travelers looking for a buzzing vacation town with bars or a full-fledged resort with many restaurants and activities won’t find it here. This is a spot to unwind, enjoy amazing views, relax, and spot wild animals in the rainforest. A rental car would be useful to explore other parts of Langkawi, to make the short drive down to the beach or to drive to a restaurant. We didn’t have a rental car and had a fantastic time just staying in the villa, swimming in the pool, and trying to spot animals nearby.

“Jungle serenity with a view to remember”

This place was beyond expectations. Set in the jungle near Datai Bay, the location is absolutely stunning, with one of the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen. From the infinity pool you can watch hornbills glide over the trees and monkeys often come by. The hosts, a lovely couple, were incredibly kind. She cooked us amazing vegan dinners every evening, once even with a Filipino twist. And yes, there’s a friendly cat who loves a cuddle. Truly a special stay I’d return to in a heartbeat

Nice quiet location. Very helpful staff. It was difficult to find, and the accommodation name was different from what it is called. Food wasn’t brilliant. We were told we could have bread and jam or cereal for breakfast, and it was only after we said we wanted croissants or pancakes as advertised that they gave them to us. Dinner wasn’t nice and only western food was available. We expected some nice Malaysian food but were told they were from the Philippines so couldn’t cook foreign food. We didn’t know they only cook western food in the Philippines! However, staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is not near any restaurants or towns so couldn’t just go somewhere local to eat. Definitely need a car. The beach was a long walk away down a very steep hill but apparently you can drive there.

The villa stay left the most pleasant impressions! It’s the perfect place for those who want to enjoy silence, comfort, and a beautiful atmosphere. The villa is very cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed—care for guests is evident. The area was especially liked: a well‑maintained courtyard, greenery around, and a great relaxation zone with a pool. The staff were polite and responsive, always ready to help. It’s a place you really want to return to. I recommend it to anyone looking for quality and peaceful vacation! The beach requires walking down a slope, quite far. Perhaps staff can give a ride. We didn’t ask.
