I loved the aesthetic and vibe. It felt homey and old‑timey. The hosts were attentive before we arrived. I really liked the kitchen. I got there very late and left early, and no staff was around, but I enjoyed walking around and pointing out the cute details of the hotel. My boyfriend called it "creepy" at night, but he doesn't get the whimsy. I loved it. The bed was soft, though a bit small. It was a full‑size bed for me and my 6'4" boyfriend, and it was comfy. I wish the kitchen had been staffed in the morning, but it seemed like only the two of us were staying. The dining area was so cute that I wanted to eat breakfast by the big windows. There was a self‑serve coffee station but no coffee pods. :( I didn't need to use the facilities, but if I had stayed longer or if others had stayed, I might not have liked a shared shower space, though some people might enjoy it.

I really enjoyed the jacuzzi tube and the selection of books about local history, and it was great to be able to walk straight out to the bay. However, there was no breakfast offered, and I would have liked the sauna to be functional—then it would have been epic. The kitchen could have been used wonderfully; I could have cooked my own bacon eggs and pancakes.
