I found the accommodation well-equipped, the room comfortable, and it had its own bathroom. If you rely on public transport, be aware that there’s only one bus line nearby, operating only during the day and not very frequent.

The hosts communicated nicely, and the place was conveniently located for our layover. The shared facilities were good, and we liked the complimentary toiletries and tea/coffee that helped us start the day early. The property could use a fresh coat of paint.

“Great value”

The value was fantastic, and the host was fantastic. The place was easy to locate, and the hosts gave clear instructions for room access. Off‑road free parking was plentiful. The room came with a kettle, tea bags, sugar, and milk portions, but if you’re allergic to milk you’ll need to bring your own coffee since the only latte sachets contain milk powder. The bathroom had a great shower, and all toiletries, towels, and a hairdryer were provided. A fan was also in the room. A fully equipped kitchen was available for guests, including a washing machine, plus a table and chair in the room for private meals or a kitchen area for shared dining. Nearby you’ll find a Greggs, a coffee shop, a butcher, and a pub. A supermarket is close by, and Tredegar House is a 10‑minute walk away. The only drawback was that my room faced the main road, so I could hear traffic, though it wasn’t excessive.
