“Amazing and intimate Bushlodge with great service!”

Sylvia arranged every detail of our stay, from activities to airport transfers, and the suite was spotless, beautiful, and decorated with wedding touches and champagne. The pool area overlooks a natural watering hole where wildlife gathers, and during a storm or power cut the staff quickly set up solar lighting. Custom game drives with their partner company were amazing, and overall it was excellent value for a peaceful, nature‑filled escape. The Wi‑Fi in the room is spotty, though it’s strong in shared areas. Because the hosts often run youth horse camps, other huts are usually occupied by campers instead of safari couples, which actually made it very quiet for us.

The staff were all new and the owner has launched a fresh project, giving the place a family vibe and shared meals that made us feel at home, thanks to Lucas the manager. Diane organized the trips to Kruger and the scenic Blide River Canyon route, which were great. No issues to mention.

“Great place, great people!”

We had a very relaxed, comfy stay with great food and a wonderfully pleasant room. The staff were lovely and treated us like family, and I’d recommend it for anyone seeking peace, wide views, and a touch of luxury at a very reasonable price. The only downside is the location up a long, unpaved road, which might not suit low‑slung sports cars, but that’s clearly advertised.

“Tolle Bushlodge in schöner Umgebung”

This lodge in the woods is stunning, with a perfect location right in nature. Each accommodation was beautiful and well equipped, and the huge pool was a highlight. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the whole staff were friendly and attentive. We also enjoyed a two‑hour horseback ride that was a lot of fun. Nothing to add.
