The island hosts were incredibly kind, doing everything they could to help us, even driving us wherever we needed to go, and the room was spotless and comfortable, making my week there truly unforgettable. I’m also excited to hear they plan to add a restaurant next year.

The owners were very accommodating and ready to help with transport. There are no restaurants on the island, and the resorts only cook for their guests or require a prior booking. Vaikona’s cooking facilities are very limited, making meals difficult, and the beach area is littered with rubbish and broken glass.

The rooms were spotless and calm, and the beds were comfy; every room had its own ensuite, which worked out great for us.

The best part about this place was the lack of a beach fence - it felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. The accommodation was fine, but the real highlight was the freedom to roam the beach without any barriers.
