The owners were very nice and the food was incredibly tasty. The room was simple, clean, and had a good bed. I slept like a marmot – maybe it was the great beer? 😄 Too bad the Waldhorn is closing soon; we would have loved to come back. Warm regards to Boris and Gabi from Saxony. The downside was that Bad Teinach was “dead.” But that’s not the Waldhorn’s fault.

The inn is pretty, but it gets dull in the autumn. Bad Teinach is a dead town with no bakery, no butcher, no café, no ice cream shop—only an outdoor pool, a luxury hotel, and a mineral water factory.

The "Waldhorn" is a true gem in Teinach – it’s tucked into the neighborhood, rooted in the town and its surroundings. The hosts are very friendly, with decades of experience in hospitality. We had clean rooms with a 1970s charm and an incredibly tasty breakfast, complete with homemade jams and many questions about whether we wanted anything else.

I was there just for an overnight stay, traveling all day until evening! That was totally fine. The place is quietly located right in the middle of the valley.
