The location was great and the meals were heartfelt and exceptionally tasty. In the morning, because of rain, the staff kindly drove us to the bus stop, which was very appreciated. We had a very comfortable stay. The historic nature of the building made its age and some outdated facilities noticeable, but the thorough cleaning made up for it, so I had no complaints.

We were thrilled to experience our first Ryokan, especially since we were cycling and they let us bring our bikes in. The room had a view of the water and the staff were helpful and friendly. The only downside was the lack of a place to hang our towels, a common issue at many Japanese spots.
