“Veľké ďakujem.”
The accommodation is located in the beautiful town of Jičín, the building and rooms are well designed, and the staff are extremely accommodating, though there could be more hooks in the wardrobe/bathroom.
“Das Appartement / die Pension war für unsere Urlaubswoche im Böhmischen Paradies eine ideale Basis”
First, this review only concerns the apartment (rooms 1‑4 are not assessed). The apartment is spacious with large glass windows facing a quiet garden, a large covered terrace with comfortable seating, a fully equipped kitchen, a generous bathroom with washing machine, dryer, ironing board, and iron. Everything is cozy and thoughtfully designed. Both TVs (one in the living room, one in the bedroom) only show Czech programs, which we appreciated. The living room has a slight cigarette smell, likely a relic from earlier times, but smoking is currently prohibited inside. Breakfast is good, and the restaurant serves good food. We liked that the pension is within walking distance of the city center, that many interesting spots are reachable by bike, and that the Bohemian Paradise offers wonderful hiking (sandstone rock formations) and plenty of castles and fortresses. Parking is available in front of the building (paid, as it is public). Bikes can be parked in the courtyard, though a slightly separate covered area would have been preferable.
A very nice pension with kind staff, clean rooms, excellent kitchen, and a rich breakfast. The pension is close to the center, so I can only recommend it.

The location is great, the breakfast is the best ever, and the owner was absolutely amazing—her willingness, communication, and effort to help and accommodate are truly exceptional; I highly recommend this place to everyone.
