The location is nice. It’s on a pedestrian street, so parking becomes a hassle.

The hotel is very pretty; at arrival they didn’t greet us warmly with a refreshing drink, and we were waiting for our car to be picked up—everything else was great. The captain at the restaurant was very rude, which is a shame because everyone else is divine and courteous.

Our time at Casa 1810 was fantastic; the hotel oozes charm, sits right in the heart of San Miguel de Allende, and the room was roomy, spotless and super comfy. What truly set it apart was the staff – Alfonso was always on hand with our luggage, the front desk team were friendly and helped with transfers, tours and anything else we needed, and Diana made every breakfast feel like the perfect start to the day. The tequila tasting and pairing was unforgettable, with the master tequileño, the waiter and the chef tailoring the experience just for us, turning it into one of the most memorable moments of the trip. We leave Casa 1810 with a wonderful memory, not just of the property but especially of the people who work there; an exceptional team and a hotel I’d wholeheartedly recommend in San Miguel de Allende.
