The manager and the rest of the staff were friendly and extremely helpful, and the coastal location is fantastic. Our room faced a wall and there was a disturbing noise even at night, so we kept the windows shut. We found that rooms with a view are quiet. The menu is limited and average, and the “specials” stayed the same on successive nights.

We arrived wet and cold after walking for 4 hours in the rain. The landlord was very helpful when the heating was still not working after 3 hours; he called a plumber and lit a log in the bar for us. The rooms are comfortable. Having heating earlier would have been nice.

Breakfast was excellent and a good choice. Dinner was well presented, reasonably priced, and there was a decent selection; desserts could have been better. The room was small but cozy, and we would have liked the heating on, especially in the bathroom. There were noticeable drafts through the bedroom window.

Great views from the beer garden and the team running the place is excellent; the breakfast was also excellent. Nothing else to mention.
