The accommodation had soul, a great location with easy access to buses and hiking trails, a very friendly owner, spotless rooms, a well‑equipped shared kitchen, and everything we needed—felt truly at home and we’ll definitely come back when the chance arises. A huge advantage is the GlarnerlandPass card that covers lodging from the first night. On the downside, it’s a tourist lodging; the room was completely quiet unless other guests were noisy, in which case you could hear everything through the door. For Swiss standards it offers a solid price‑to‑quality ratio, but if you’re used to traveling elsewhere in Europe, you might find the value less appealing.

I only spent one night here while on a hike, but the hostel exudes a pleasant vibe with a clean room and good facilities; the pre‑arrival communication was excellent, and I’d definitely return when I’m back in the area.

sehr herzlicher und familiärer Empfang und Aufenthalt. Extra für mich als einzigen Gast mit Nachtessen gekocht und zusammen am gleichen Tisch gegessen und tolle Gespräche geführt. Super Gastgeber!
